Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi all
I have rec'd a standard letter from b/card re microfilm and i know I have seen somewhere some wording I can use in my reply to them - can anyone help!
Also submitted request to Lloyds tbs by phone - called today day as 35 to be told they had no such request - made them listen to the calls rec'd 18/9 and bingo -there it was! Have been told they have referred to the complaints dept. I duly pointed out they had 5 days to supply me the requested dets under DSAR - ummm dont expect they will!!!
The man I spoke to said my charges from 2001 till now were £832 so god knows what they will total once they have provided me with the rest of my statements.
My advice is to do everything in writing so that you can keep a record on file of everything sent or received. Then there can be no misunderstandings later on.
