Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am new to chatting aswell as this legal process but am determined to break through!!
I sent letter one and two to A+L, with virtually the same response.. that the law applies to credit cards, not to current a/c charges, currently amounting to £1600.
Can someone pls reassure me that the next step is to now issue particulars of claim at the local court?
Its so inspiring reading the successful stories and I am doing my best to spread the word of this great work.
Please be reassured. I have gone through this twice. First Nov 05 and then June 06. A& L are one of the easiest to pursue. They let you issue claim, serve notice to defend, pay up, and then close your account!
If you follow the experiences of everyone on here you will gain confidence. I'll be happy to guide you through it. I remember my nervousness the first claim, and then confidence for my second. Just remember to have another account prepared with all your payments in and out transferred because they will close your account.
A&L gave me years of financial hell, but am now solvent thanks to this website. In fact I now keep another account with them with £5 in it so they have to pay postage to send me statements every month! Also a savings account with very small amount of refunded charges on which I get interest.
Thank you so much for your generous support.
The guidance would be welcomed!
I collected the relevant forms for a remission today and am busy putting documents together for that.
This is going to be a most significant week!!!
Heres to justice!
Do I make you a 'buddy'? Sorry...I find this thread business alittle difficult to navigate.
Not necessarily a buddy - if you post on here everyone can benefit. I know there are people who only read the posts and maybe don't ever want to post themselves. They do however get the benefit of reading the open forum.
Of course if you have anything you want ot pm that's OK
