Cool Kim V Argos Store Card

Since other requests for list of charges in the pipeline, thought I might as well include the Argos Card.

First letter sent requesting list of charges over past 6 yearsicon. Don't think there have been many but what the heck!

    Hooray, I'm not alone anymore!

They've gone further down my list of people to claim against when I got my statements, they only charged me £20. (2x10).

    Keep us posted.

Apologies to people who I was in the process of helping, I may be gone some time.

Question Re: Kim V Argos Store Card

I think there is only one late payment charge of £20, since I have asked for DPA should I wait for the 40 days before making the claim?

Question Re: Kim V Argos Store Card

I haven't heard anything from Argos since my letter, no communication at all except their next statement.

I know there was only one late payment charge of £20 but not sure when this was.

Will request for this as a refund - but do I need the exact date to proceed?

Cool Re: Kim V Argos Store Card

Talk about delaying tactics, Argos ignorned my first letter, responded to my second asking for £10 DPA then 40 days, I know it was only one payment of £20 but don't have the date, will have to send the £10 to get it moving again.....

Can't believe with the holidayicon forgot to pay this month, got charged £17.50 and found the last statement when I had to pay charges - don't need the DPA then.

Will send lbaicon asking for money back now

Unhappy Re: Kim V Argos Store Card

They totally ignored my request for repayment - what a surprise

Sending 2nd letter before actionicon 19 June - then will file the court claim in two weeks time.

Perhaps they will ignore that too.

Cool Re: Kim V Argos Store Card

Received a reply from first letter - finally

Saying they are involved with the OFT because they are a store card, offered £30 to settle, and recommend the direct debiticon, first time been offered this facility.

They owe me £35 should I settle for £30 and set up the DD or fight it out for the full £35 plus interesticon by going to court?

Perhaps a bit petty to fight for the £5 plus - might give them a ring and try and bend their arm.
