Hello;

This is my first posting. I have followed all the numbers for reclaiming the bank charges. This started nearly four months ago when a charge for a small returned cheque (insufficient funds) created a cascade of bank charges as a result of being over my overdraft because of the bank charges taken out. I soon saw what was happening and stopped using the account. I have now arrived at the stage of Small Claims.

I will mention that the total sum I am claiming now is £2305.97; and they did answer my previous three letters and did offer a goodwill gesture of £500; but also insisted that they are within their agreement with me upon opening the account. Also they insist that the OFT ruling was only in reference to Credit Card accounts. That particular letter read very unprofessional with bad sentence structure and a mis-spelling.

Question for anyone;
I made my claim through www.moneyclaim.gov.uk
The online form only gives a limited space for particulars and no way to attach schedule of charges and interest. Is this a problem ???
