    Yesterday I got the usual letter from Barclaycard - Sorry to hear of your complaint, blah, blah, blah. I was going to draft a swift response, when this morning I have an offer from Barclaycard. It basically is the difference between the OFT recommended fee of £12 & the 8 £20 charges incurred, £64 in total.
    Now I know with the bank, normally you'd send them a bogoff letter but what is the protocal here - would the court think I was being unfair in persuing the whole charge for refund in light of the OFT recommendation?

    Hi not sure what the bank would say but got offer of difference only also, accepted as part payment but informed them I would be persueing the rest. If you look at the thread prior to this "Ready Barclaycard?" it may be a little help.
