Offer Recieved - Help required please!
Hi,
I have received a full offer from HSBC for £3200. They have stated that they are going to credit my mangaged loan rather than pay it into my current account. Can you do this or can I request that the money is paid into my bank??
Thanks. Similar Threads:

Threaten to refuse the offer and continue with court action unless they send you a cheque, at your risk of course, but it has worked for others.

I believe they can do that - they can move money from your current account to pay off your loan if you are in arrears - so I expect this is similar.
What state is your managed loan in ?
How much is it for ?
Is your current account in debit ?
I dont know if there is a huge amount you can do as you have accepted the settlement and withdrawn the claim - but it is sneaky and underhand of them.
