Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Yes, that's correct. The limitation act does not apply to the DPA. You're entitled to everything they have in their records about you. What use you make of the older data, or indeed any data, is up to you once you've got it.

By day, quiet unassuming bank customer - but, by night, .. .. .. .. .. Barclays Case1 14/03/07 **WON** FULL settlement £3358.39 Barclays Case2 08/09/08 Prelim: please give me my £187.91 back. Halifax Case1 14/03/07 **WON** Refunded £728 (including £54 costs) Halifax Case2 08/09/08 Prelim: please give me my £268.24 back.
OK I've got the prints of my statements and it reads that I have paid £2385 in charges (pity I can't get the extortionate od interest they take off me every month). So I'll fill in the spreadsheet and start the ball rolling. As an aside it amused me to think about how long Barclays must spend determining their charge amount............looks like it's a case of slap an extra fiver on every two years.
Right I'm lifting my head out of the sand. Can someone tell me where I should send my request for the charges to. Should it be Barclays in London, Leicester or my Branch?
YES YES & YES,
It doesnt REEEEally matter at this stage as they will all get forwarded via internal mail system.
Its only when you start court action all correspondence goes to Churchill Place.
