Default DLA Piper not acting for Abbey anymore!

    Hi everyone,
since the good newsicon that the ICO has decided against Abbeyicon i have had a notice of a change of solicitor for my case regarding the data protection act against abbey.

    Here is the news...

My solicitor DLA Piper... has ceased to act for me and i shall now be acting in person.

I dont know for sure but i think this is good news? is it?

well they sent me some of the fiche records but they were not complete they have blanked off some of the columns and some of the rows are missing. they want me to pay again for them to send out a new set.

I put in my n1 form before they had sent me the incomplete set and am still waiting for a full set of copies. the letter i got this morning was from Abbeyicon but it looked like a copy of something they had recieved from the court, and said dla piper are no longer representing them and they are to represent themselves from now on.

I'm ahead in the process. I have submitted my claim for the charges to the court a couple of weeks ago. I received the same notification as you this morning in that Abbeyicon are now acting for themselves.

Please Click The Scales if I have been of help to you.
