Hi folks, sent my first letter by recorded delivery on the 5th October, no reply yet (not that i was expecting one) ive prepared my second letter ready to send.
Ive calculated they've charged me £3018 on 2 accounts over the last 6 years. like alot of you when i went through everything i found charges of £35 for returning a £12 D/D then the following month a referral charge of £30-£90 for exceeding my overdraft.
Anyway once this is sorted im going to send a complaint to the banking ombusman for the way they mis-sold a morgage to me and their complete farce of an attempt to investigate it. does anyone know how long you have to do this? they sold me the morgage in '04' they realised their mistake in August '05' ignored the complaint until Feb '06' then investigated (if you can call it that) it and sent me a final response May'06' asked if they could relook at it as the final response was full of inaccuracies then in june/july said were unable to find anything out due to all my records being lost and suggested i go to the banking ombusman,
