Hi i was burgled last week and amongst other things my wallet was stolen with £220 in , i am a self employed window cleaner and they have said they cannot pay out for the cash as i can not prove i had the money . can they do this or is there anything i can do as to me it is alot of money and can not afford to loose it , many thanks

Do you have copy receipts, invoices or accounts showing you received this money from customers recently?

 

If this was payment from "cash in hand jobs" you have no chance.

 

Do not be tempted to invent paperwork as they will check it and can throw out the entire claim if they discover you trying to defraud them
