Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
two initial requests for payment sent off today for different accounts. £52.23+ £77.16. With these added to my current NW MCOL claim I'm still below the £5k small claims limit so I decided not to wait for the first claim to be resolved before sending these 2 in. Initial request sent to NW CC Op's, Regulatory Risk, POBox 5636, Southend on Sea, SS99 1WJ - as per Bookworms info in the contacts section. Wonder of these will ever reach Mr Higley ?!
That makes 9 different claims in 3 days & only one to go now !!
acknowledgement of all 3 letters dated 25/10 "It is not our policy to refund late payment/over limit fees that were charged previously at a higher level".
Just had a call from Mike in customer care, and "as you're accounts have zero balance, would you like me to send you a cheque for the full amount you're claiming?"
Another one bites the dust !!!
