Thread: funding corp - p/loan charges. HELP

can i claim for charges incurred on a personal loan?

my hubby missed one pymt on his loan and has been charged £40, he then rec'd a letter 3 days later, and was charged a further £30!!!

hi does the reclaiming of charges apply to personal loans?

i have written to my hubbys provider (funding corporation) and they have replied stating that it doesn't apply to them.

2] can we reclaim charges?

we took the funding corp to court re late pymt fee's that were added to the acc.

they have now filed a defence - so it looks like we'll be going to court.

is there anything i need to know/do when in court?

I am a couple of steps behind you. They have refused to pay my money. I am following the standard for claiming money back on the premise that it is unfair hence unlawful as per the law. Will ff you progress. Good luck!

congratulations!! Did you have to produce a copy of their T&Cs if so was there a clause in it that said you have to indemnify them against any cost incurred running the account?
