    Default hello i'm new! - a bank charges question..

    Firstly Hello and thanks to the admins for what is clearly an invaluable service!!

    I am about to start proceedings against Barclaysicon regarding my bank charges.
    The last straw was when I cancelled a direct debiticon, barclays then proceeded to pay it out anyway - however the company concerned never recieved the payment and barclays charged me £30 for going over my OD limit! where did this money go?
    unfortunately barclays have just sent me a threatening letter saying i have to get back within my agreed limit within 4 days - something i cannot afford to do at this point in time.. my basic question is - can i still go ahead with proceedings to retrieve my charges even while barclays have issued me with a demand??

    If you read the FAQ's they cover everything like this in there esp important info on parachuteicon accounts!!

    You may want to have a look at the barlcays thread as well to find out how Barclaysicon are with other customers.
