Hi eveyone.Well its been a long day,but ive just finished writing the last of 7 cheques to various banks and cc companys with my request for S.A.RS. As a lazy person by nature this took some doing but reading through the forums,advice and case notes this site has really inspired me to act.I will do my best to give updates as and when theirs any action.
One or two comments have me a little worried,like CITI cards "play hard ball". So be it! As Alan Partridge once said "let battle commence".

You are right, this site is an inspiration it is the thanks to those people who boldly went before, that make our claims easier to fight.
All the sars i sent out on 12-10-06 are in now with the exception of A & L.
Shame really as their by far my biggest chargers.
So it looks like a phone call in the morning.

Still nothing from A and L. Is it ok for me to go staight to lba now?.Ive got a reasonable idea of charges.and i could allways amend the total when the sars show up.In the meantime i could pen a few complaining letters off.
I did send the request via recorded delivery but the royal mail shows the letter as leaving the sorting office for A and L but no signiture.

I recieved an offer this morning to settle,this is interesting.
Ive not recieved any statments to my sars request.
ive not even sent a pre-lim letter
my name and address is on the offer

did you manage to get to the bottom of this settlement letter? They have been acting rather odd lately, I was not charged for going overdrawn which is very bizare, they are usually on the ball..........
Ok heres the deal. Asked for S.A.R.S it took 53 days to turn up and when it did there was an offer of 700.00 to settle! No pre-lim letter sent,no lba sent...........Now thats service for you.
However they owe me the best part of 2k..............now thats sneaky for you!................lol.
