If anyone is in any doubt about the way banks treat people this story should be read to them.
The full article in the print veriosn of the Daily Mail makes for very sad reading:
'Bank drove our son to suicide over £1,200 overdraft' | the Daily Mail
I wont place my personal views on this story, i really would not want to use that kind of language on a public forum.
The total waste of a young man's life all for the sake of his overdraft.
"HSBCagain offers its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Geraint Banks-Wilkinson. privacy legislation prohibits a bank from discussing the details of its customers accounts, and we certainly would not want to intrude upon family's grief".
Strange when the family said "people from the bank kept phoning here for him even after he died"
Well HSBC such was the effect your banking policies and attitudes a young man thought the better option was to commit suicide, even then you were not satisfied and tried to claw back money, i wonder how much of this money was for unlawful penalties.
Beware, my tiemtable is set and i will not be taking any prisoners.
