I'm awaiting all my statements to start the process of making a claim for charges.

I also have 'Overdraft Loan guard' which I have been paying regularly over the years. Unfortunately the small print looks as if it will make my claim void as I have been in and out of agency work and ill over the past few years.

Can I claim the payments back for being 'miss-sold' the policy or is it up to me to make sure I knew whether or not I should be paying it?

I didn't even notice it until recently when it started coming off my account at about £16 a month!!! (used to be about £3)

I have an appointment with my Doctor tomorrow for him to fill out his part of my 'claim' form but I think that will just be another cost to a lost cause.

Any ideas or past experiences guys?

I have just noticed an old RBS loan that was paid off and it also had this LoanGuard attached.

I was self-employed at the time so presumably this is missold PPI which I can reclaim - I had no idea about PPI then.

We think this deal was an overdraught they turned into a loan.

Any advice appreciated guys. :)
