    Default Beginning with BOS

    Firstly i'd like to say that since finding this site through Moneysaving expert i am extremely impressed and grateful for the wealth of information and help i have found on the site.

    I am about to send my DPA request and was wondering how i would go about asking for the information. My situation is that due to lots of bank charges when i was out of the country for a year, my current was downgraded to a Solo account and as far as i can remember the Sort code and account number changed(if they did, i cant remember what the details were)

    Is there any way i can ask for "All other accounts that were in my name from this period"?

    Hi

    Welcome to the forum.

    That should be fine - the DPA request is for persnal information kept in yoru name. They should be able to search on your name and address info and fetch up all the accounts you had during that period.

    I have been totally debt free for over 4 years now and i have just opened a new joint account and got another switch account.

    If i contest the old charges on my old Switch - downgraded to solo - will they close all 3 of my accounts?

    I sincerely hope not

    I understand the closure of accounts is a possibility but does anyone have any experience of BOSicon closing accounts? And is it normally only if it ends up in court?

    Well my DPA letter was sent on Saturday to my BOSicon branch in Queen Street. Hopefully get a response this week.
