Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have tried to email DAVH for the info but he musnt work for these fine people anymore? I had a card with them & want to claim charges back but havent retained details of the account. It started off as a revolving credit account when I purchased sons MCFC ticket ( I know I know) & they transferred it to a credit card. Should I try just sending the disclosure letter with all personal info ro is it a dead loss without the account no?
Under a SAR they are obliged to send any info they hold on a person. Thus the account no is strictly speaking irrelevant. Provided you give sufficient info from which they can identify you ie name address, previous names and addresses, date of birth etc. they have to send you the info they hold on you. So yes send the SAR from the templates but add any additional info you may need instead of account number.
