    Default Bit of Advice Pls

I've been reading through all the articals and letters on how to claim and I'm pretty sure I know the process, just have a couple of questions. I've seen many examples for bank accounts but not credit cards - is this still the same process. The card would be a standard Halifaxicon credit card. It isn't my own but its my partners and I'm trying to help her out, basically she is over the limit and she missed a few payments but now is in the situation where she is paying the minium but then being charged for being over the limit but can't afford to get it under. Also she has this on her credit report, I saw on the example letter something about asking for that to be removed - is this correct or to do with something else?

Thanks for any help, she's looking to use the cash to clear as much of the card as poss and close the account as the card hasn't been used for well over a year!

Hi and welcome the process does apply to credit cards as the OFT report was based on cc, if the default has occured because of charges you can apply to have it removed. The best advice os to read the faqs and also threads regarding default removal.
