    Default Closed Credit Card Accounts - Help please?

    I would like to get my statements from old credit cards, but unfortunately I no longer have the credit card number as I shredded the statements when I closed the accounts/transferred to other credit cards. Has anyone got a way of finding out the numbers of old credit cards or is it just a case of sending a letter stating my name and saying that I used to have a credit card with the particular company but do not have the credit card details? Does this make sense? Has anyone else done this?

    Send them your details and proof of ID they should give you the information you require.
