They sent me someone elses statements!!

Yup, as the title suggests, my sister requested a SAR icon

and for two of the months, they have sent her someone elses statements. See here (http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...ill-leeds.html) for more details.

Is it worth a big stink over this or should I just post them on to the chap and ignore their cock up?

post them on to the chap assuming you have his address and send a letter with it telling him wehat a big deal and breach of the data protection act you think it is, and let him kick up a big stink with the banks about it.

If you don't have his address then seal them in an envelope and give them to your branch to forward on to him (mark it personal confidential etc) and put identifying info on the front.

today received response to SAR icon

and they have included a response letter which is adressed to someone else stapled on to mine. Her name is Miss Shepperd and her bank details are included. I will post them to her as suggested. Bank was Abbey icon
