Could anyone give me some advice please? I am keen to reclaim charges made to my Nationwide account, has anyone had any positive stories from them? also during my brief period of financial instability Nationwide stopped 2 mortgage payments to Birmingham Midshires who in turn charged me £35 a time! Should i be claiming from BM or should I add the £70 to my request to Nationwide.
Hi and welcome, you cant claim off Nationwide what bm charged you you'd have to chase them for that!
And yes i have had all my charges back from nationwide, and you will too!
I QUESTION THEREFORE I AM!!
Unfortunately i'm not an expert in any given field legally and my advice and that of the Consumer Action Group and the Bank Action Group is given without prejudice and without liability so please if in any doubt whatsoever seek help from an insured qualified professional. Contents of my posts are purely my own personal opinions and not condoned or endorsed in any way, shape or form by CAG. Thank you!

Thanks for that, excuse my ignorance but does the fact that I was late on two mortgage payments and subsiquently charged, also class as an unlawful charge or do mortgages come under some other system ???
