Sending Data Protection Act request letter on Monday will let you know what happens.

How funny!

The day I decide to begin my claim against A&L, I get charged a £34 unpaid cheque fee.

I called A&L Thursday night to ask if a cheque was due to be presented on the Friday. I was told it was not, that she had looked and there was nothing due on the Friday.

I goto the cashpoint on the friday to draw out £20 of the £60 in there (as the cheque had not been presented). I get home to check online and see that it indeed had been presented and that it had now bounced!

I call them up on the Saturday and tell them and am told "Thats not the case, we can't cheque these things overnight" so they investigated and listened to the call - and hey presto I was right! £34 being refunded.

Now just the rest to go!
