Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
i have just sent my letter before action to HSBC as they did not reply to the last one, and they have also added another charge of £125 to come out on the 13th of this month can any one advise me on what to do about this
Add the £125 to your claim when you file. Or whatever the amount is by the time you file. That's the amount that counts. And keep track of what they add after you start your claim, so that you can either negotiate to have it all removed when they settle, or start a new claim straight away.
Apologies to people who I was in the process of helping, I may be gone some time.
