    Default leaphaze vs Cahoot

    Hi friends,

I have a relatively small amount to reclaim, just £47.99, but it's the principle that counts.

I sent off my first letter 5 days ago and had two emails from Cahoot yesterday: an acknowledement and then a standard no. I'm going to wait the 14 days then send them an LBA (letter before actionicon).

    I have two questions.
1: because I'm claiming a smaller sum are they more likely to fold earlier (banks in general, not just Cahoot)?
2: many posts mention sending emails rather than letters; because it's more convient, quicker and cheaper than composing/printing/stamping/posting a letter, I wonder whether a bank attaches the same weight to an email?

Anyway, good luck to everyone to this path.

I'd have thought you could get those back just my winging on the phone to a manager TBH and because its out of character for you as a customer - usually refund but if they don't still do it - you can get all costs back and you will win.
