Default A prelim approach to you guys for help on a guide to charges amounts

I am appealing to you guys who are winners and claimers to help me form a guide to amounts of charges. Maverick has given a useful guide as to what you are looking for but what about the amounts and their changes through the last 6 yearsicon.

This is a bit of a research thread that I hope you can help with. I will try and collate all the figures into one single thread so any help would be appreciated on this. This should help the Site Helpers and Mods to give an easy guide for claimers.

Thanks in advance as I am not an expert on HSBCicon

Guys I am please with the replies but need more info on this. I need Unpaid fees from 2000 to 2006(have the latest which is £30 and also updated fees proposed from 1/12/2006)
Also I need card misuse fees which is guaranteeing a cheque that is cashed that takes you over the limit. Is it called card misuse? and what were the amounts from 2000 to 2006.
Unarranged Borrowing or going over the limit, what is the charges 2000 to 2006?
This is when you go over an overdrafticon limit without prior arrangement. Is is called unarranged Borrowing?

This could be quite a long research project unless someone has charges leaflets or good knowledge of them from 2000.
Thanks for your help already but need more.

    Hi NWSM,
My statements only go from end Dec 2000 - End Dec 2003, this is what I have:

Dec 2000 - End Jan 2003 Total Charges £27.50 for unauth o/d (one fixed fee per month)

Feb 2003 - End Dec 2003 Total Charges £18.00 for each payment going out on unauth o/d to max 4 as already specified by Bong, so max charges of £72.00

Unpaid SO/DD (have various ones throughout 2003 from Jan - Sept) - £30.00 each.

    Hope this helps.

I have a quick question re overdrafticon reviews as their charges are a little confusing on this matter. Stating that you do not get charged for it on the first few ocasions. Can someone with a bit of knowledge on them explain them. Am close to getting the charges bit for HSBCicon up and running but will need to understand this bit first. Thanks for your help in advance

It seems to be a matter of discretion as far as the bank is concerned. From what I understand you won't be charged for the first 2 occasions in any 6-12 month period, but if it starts to be a regular occurence then they will charge you. I've been charged every month for last 10-12 months.
