Hey Ho!

Another MCOL filed today for Arrears fees levied on an old mortgage icon

account I had with them from 1995 to 2003.

£307.56 in total...let's see what their next move is.

A quick update - pretty hilarious this...

Defence was filed with the Court by Abbey icon

's own Legal Team, NO SOLICITOR!

The letter to me was addressed "Dear Madam..." :o

Their Defence denies all the allegations set out in the Particulars of Claim...

*They admit that I have a current bank account with them (WHICH I DON'T - IT WAS A mortgage icon

ACCOUNT AND CLOSED 4 YRS AGO!!)

*The applicable T's & C's they refer to in their Defence were all ones I accepted (BUT I DIDN'T HAVE A CURRENT ACCOUNT AND SO DIDN'T NEED TO APPLY FOR AN overdraft icon

, HAVE AN UNAUTHORISED OVERDRAFT OR WAS CHARGED FEES FOR HAVING AN UNAUTHORISED OVERDRAFT!!)

*Any overdraft facility on my Account was (and is) subject to the Conditions laid out (DID I TELL YOU IT WAS A mortgage icon

ACCOUNT, NOT A CURRENT ACCOUNT???!

So, not only do Abbey not know what they are doing, but they can't tell a Leslie from a Lesley and I think they need a lie down in a darkened room to halt the confusion!!!

Can't wait to file my allocation questionnaire icon

Zoot - nothing would give me more pleasure, because they will look thoroughly stupid fighting me on the wrong grounds and armed with all the facts for the wrong case!! lol

I'm speechless, they are obviously trying to save a bit of money, what a mess, hope you've got a nice space in your BANK account for that cheque, its in the bag, amybe they will send Inga to court as well!

looks like mine done on the 24th must have been one of the few lasts ones done correctly by DLA Piper. I wonder if they will continue as the solicitor or if Abbeys own team will take it over, I hope they do.
