    Hi 270091,

with the amount you're claiming being over the £5000 small claims limit it may be useful to read around and decide which route you want to take when it comes to filing a claim. i.e splitting the claim into 2 smaller claims etc.

Unfortunately I'm in Scotland as is RBSicon (I assume) so it looks like small claims would be difficult if not impossible for this amount, has anyone tried claiming through a legal protection policy? I have one of these which is supposed to cover me for consumer issues - just a thought....

Sorry I can't be any help but I'm just starting out as well but will keep my fingers crossed for you as I too am taking on RBSicon in Scotland and am currently puzzling what to do about the small claims restrictions as I reckon my claim will be about £5000 and I can't handle the thought of 7 different claims!!

    GOOD LUCK!
