Hi...the 7th October is the day I file my claim as had no response to the lba. I saved the spreadsheet to my pc and have calculated up the 8% interest.....
1) Will this update on a daily basis now so that on saturday it will have an extra 2 days clculations on it?
2) It states to send a letter to the bank again to let them know you have filed a claim with a copy of the schedule of charges....can you advise what letter I send and do I this time send a copy of the schedule of charges including the 8% interest?
3) the online claim form - do i send an attatchment with it like on e-mails so i can attatch my schedule of charges or do i print it all off and send through post? I daren't go into it until saturday incase it wont let you come out of it once you start it - so i'm just getting prepared with possible question and answers for the big day.
4) Last question now i promise!!...... Once the claim has been made with the courts and the Halifax then say they will settle do they have to give the 8% interest too or do I only get that if i have to physically step foot into the court rooms?
Re: Just a little confused...please can you help me
I did not need to send a schedule of charges following the claim being issued -i would have a copy ready but provided you have already sent a schedule with your previous letters to the bank they should not need it.
The Halifax paid back the court fees(£120.00) and the interest(£318.76) in my case.
Hope that helps- good look!
