A few months ago paypalcontacted me saying a buyer who i sold a mobile phone
too was disputing the sale and had requested a claim back for the funds - due to working away from home i only noticed this a month and a half after they automatically made a decision in the buyers favour debiting my paypal account with the sum required.
I had been in regular contact with them and told them that a) the buyer hadnt returned the item and b) that the item was as it was stated in the ebay ad so there wasnt anything wrong with it... I explained everything to them and told them i wasnt paying as the item wasnt returned etc - i also asked them to get in touch with the buyer to return the item then i would be happy to pay as i tried to get in touch but had no joy.
Now a couple of months ago they said details had been passed to a debt collectionAgency and that they would be in touch - i told them it was unacceptable and i want the funds refunded. No other correspondance has been received and my Credit file is still in good condition with nothing applied to it regarding paypal.
Just wondered if there is anything more i should or could do??
