Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
When i was a foolish young 18 year old i got into a lot of debt due to the fact the bank were pushing all these credit cards / overdrafts etc onto me.
About a year ago it all got too much for me and after talking to a manager managed to get a Term Loan for the full amount owing at a reduced payment of £161 (Over 25 years however)
I was wondering if there was any way of either getting this substantially reduced or written off completely without adversely affecting my credit rating - maybe under some form of legislation relating to being badgered at a young age to take out the debt etc?
I know it probably sounds like an attempt to bail but its just very crippling and its gonna last another 20 odd years - id prefer to get something done other than resorting to an IVA or Trust Deed.
