I have received my bank statements from Barclays. I have many unpaid cheques but don't seem to have been charged for them?!?! I have contacted the bank and they are unsure why. I do remember being charged for cheques though. Anyone else experienced this? What should I do?
It's unfortunate, but I think you're gonna need proof of the charges before you proceed. Have you no original statements lying around the house which may show charges?
How do you know you were charged? In other words, what notification did they give you of the charges? Copies of this notification may be a place to start.
