Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Am in the process of issuing a moneyclaim against Lloyds on behalf of partner. She has had the 2 standard fob off letters. Could someone tell me the best address to name on the form??

all filled in and sent off! What next? Should I inform their solicitors? ( Who have made no contact so far!)
This is the Court claim yes? And you've sent it to the branch?
Then that's it for the time being, no need to inform anyone else. They have 14 days from the date of deemed service (maybe up to a week later) to reply either with an admission (ha!), a defence or an acknowledgement. If they acknowledge (which they probably will) then they have a further 14 days in which to submit a defence.
As soon as the defence arrives get back here and we'll see where to go from there. The defence may or may not seem scary to you when it arrives but don't worry about it, we've all been there. Just ask for advice when it arrives.
