Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Read the previous threads about Egg & although my card & loan had been paid up, thought I would check charges etc.
So emailed through the secure website as I still had my password etc stating my accounts were closed in 2004 only to have an email back saying " you have never held an account with egg & therefore we cannot send you a form"!!!
I emailed back stating how could I have got a secure message to them if I wasn't on their system.
They have since replied again stating they have now found me & as long as I agree to pay the £10, they will send me a form - eureka. I can see this is going to a struggle!
Welcome to the CAG and I can see you have probably started on the FAQ's and reading the Egg threads. The £10 is the fee for a Subject Acces Request so they should be able to get you the information. Good Luck .
