Default Fed Up with Black Horse

A wee moan about Black Horse. Got a personal loan from them, and its all going the wrong way.

I have accured about £700 of charges, but because I'm on a temporary payment plan with them I dont want to start claiming them back.

Since I went on the payment plan, they said all letters would stop, as well as intrest and charges.

The charges, and as far as I know, the Intrest has stopped, but if I get one more letter from these people, I think Im going to crack up.

    Thanks for listening!!!

i'm sure they are just computer generated letters - ignor them mate!

Balck Horse are lots of fun to deal with, did you sort out a payment plan throught them? if so i'd say still go for refund on charges to reduce the debt - if not have a word with your management company and see what their policy on this is as they may have no objections to you claiming if it reduced your debt.

People who haven't made mistakes, haven't made anything!

The payment plan was sorted out throught Black Horse, in one of their offices. I was supposed to be paying £130/month, but I told them I could only pay £73/month. They sorted this out for a 6 month period when they will review it.

I dont want to start chasing them for charges just now incase they say I can't have further payment reductions, whatever.

There must be about £700 worth of charges on the account, as they seem to charge £30 for everything, and although the letter recieved this morning isnt in front of me, I am sure they charged me £195 for "Collection Activity".

I am getting so fed up with it, its unreal!!!

I have applied for my copy of my credit agreement with Black Horse (came back as a photocopy of the agreement - nice, especially as the TOC aren't on the back!

What do I do now? I have searched the forum and cannot find a simple process to follow - send this get this back etc.

I have been hit by a late payment charge almost every month for a year due to a DD/wages error and also have a £230 'collection charge' which I find bizarre, as the payments have always been made within a week or so if the DD has failed?!

It seem my agreement has gone from 24 months to almost 60 cos of these charges and needless to say I am a bit miffed.

Can someone point me to a forum where the the process is explained nice and simple, for financial morons such as myself (must be a moron dealing with Black Horse!).

    Ta.
