Thread: OMG what are they like?

I sent the woolwich a SAR for both my personal account and my mortgage account. both now closed, however i recieved my cheque back stating my statements would arrive within 7 days. this fell exactly on the last day of the deadline, however, suprise,suprise. no statments, i am now sending an lba to them tomorrow.

My question is am i able to claim money back as i had an endowment on this mortgage, now closed and it did not perform, so i payed it for 7 years, then when i sold the house i still had to pay back nearly 4k more than i borrowed, any advise on this would be cool

dunno about the endowmemnt but am surprised you had to wait, woolwich sent me a complete list o the charges, all i had to do was type them into a spreadsheet and add the interest
