Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi, I sent my preliminary letter in on 19th September, I got a reply yesterday stating what I expected that it only applied to credit cards. So I have just posted the lba. I have also sent letter to Bank of Scotland re old credit card so am going for it now, aiming for the lot....
Just recvd the response to my 2nd letter (lba) again repeats that the charges are correct etc etc....so will need to start proceedings think will have to have a good read of FAQ's before doing so - feel nervous
No need to feel nervous, its your money! We're all behind you, good idea to keep going back to the FAQ's they are really helpfull and have another look at other peoples threads so you have an idea what is going to happen before it does. It stops you feeling so nervous!! (helped me anyway)!!
Any worries then just keep posting and we will try to reasure u
