Just wondered how you got on with your M&S claim? Ive just had first letter back from them saying no - not even a gesture of goodwillicon offer which seems to be the norm for other cards.

Would be interesting to know how successful you were before I go to second stage letter........

    Thanks

Default Re: marks and Spencer visited by bailiff.

Judgement was entered against MS on 13/06/06 as they hadnt acknowledged my claim, I have now been sent this by MCOL
"The bailifficon has been unable to recover the amount shown on the warrant. You are unable to take any further action online on this warrant.

If you have a joint judgment against two defendants you can try to re-issue the warrant against the second defendant, this cannot be done by using Money Claim Online."
As there isnt a second defendant I cant reissue the warrant. Any ideas what my next move is. Do you think everyone in MS head office is hiding under their desks when they see the bailifficon at the door!! Bailiifs manage to collect from joe public ok, makes you wonder whats going on.

Puzzling. They have far more powers in respect of business premises- they can force entry. I'd ring the mcol helpline and see what they suggest. If bailifficon action fails there are other really quite interesting enforcement options

I unfortunalty have had to use them a few times and they are very good. You get your fees back in the collection.
