    Hi, Grog.

Think Bootle address is fine for this stage in the proceedings. When it gets to court stage you will need to change it to the Registered Office address, (Narborough - can find it on their statements).

    Luck, dude.

Not sent SARicon yet as I wanted to get another account set up, ready for A&L closing. Been declined by Abbeyicon and NW step account. Do I now give up claiming back charges because I will need a current account and cannot risk A&L closing without something to fall back on.

You can't baulk at the first hurdle, Grog, 'cause there are going to be quite a few more to jump before you get to the end!

I've heard that the co-op have an account that is quite accessible, try them.

I don't want to give up at all, just need a current account so I am scared that A&L will close if I pursue charges. I have tried the Co-Op account fingers crossed. Thanks

The Abbeyicon do a basic account that has no credit checks. No cheque book or overdrafticon / debit card, but cash point card and direct debiticon available.

I will wait for co-op answer b4 trying but thanks anyway.

I have alot of old credit card accounts that are "not in use" i.e are closed, interesticon frozen and being paid off in small monthly payments, can I pursue charges on these accounts ?
If I can what would happen to any sucessfull claim amount, paid into account to reduce amount owing or paid in cheque to me?
    Thanks in advance

All such charges are unlawful, grog28, and therefore fair game - claim away!

Can't say what form rapayment will take however, maybe it varies from company to company.

Cheers. Will stagger my claims, so as not to overburden myself. Anything knocked off the outstanding amount helps reduce the life of the debt so bring em on.

Don't forget to send another copy of your schedule, the more copies you send the less chance there will be of them stating there are insufficient grounds.......although they'll probably still try it on.

They may keep doing that so keep your schedule updated so that its ready for your moneyclaim to be issued. Remember however, that any charges after the moneyclaim has been issued then thats a new claim and can't be added to the one already started. A&L will hold out until you get to the moneyclaim stage, once thats been served they will initially say that they intend to defend but will settle up in full before any court date. Thats what I was told when going through it and thats what actually happened with my claim. Good luck just keep going and don't let them make you think that your not entitled to reclaim the charges they have deducted from your account.

MCOL issued - used 8% to be safe. Nervous now in case I did something wrong.
