Thread: Cancelling PPI

Hi all..

Hope this is in the right forum, have searched 'PPI' but cant see any results..! **(think I may have, but cant see how to move it - sorry)

I've recently wrote to cancel the PPI on 2 loans I have.. (used the template letter - a great help!)

Have had replies from both.. one has just cancelled (no mention of refunds etc)

The other points out the terms of taking out the PPI, and invite me to contact them to discuss extending/re-arranging the loan..

Not very good at writing letters of complaint, any suggestions on how to word or what the gist of my next letter should be?

It may be worth a couple of hours checking the follow through links to OFT and Competition Commission before sending off a letter...

I was just looking for my new thread on the same issue (started two days ago) but strangely can't find it now. Had not seen yours previously but this stuff is really interesting I didn't know there was a template on here for it.

You had the same concerns as me and I am worried as to how this will affect my loan but I had some good responses if I can only find the thread.

Did you try it and if so, would you mind letting me know how you got on? Thanks

Thanks Loula. Don't know the terms just now. Will have to dig them out. Should I put them on my own thread. Am I hijacking now?
