    Default nahrobson vs Barclaycard

Sent off my DPA on 17 Aug and received a holding 'we are thinking about it' letter on the 25 Aug. I received on 23 Sep a letter saying that their charges are transparant and fair etc but offering £65 as a no-blame payment. I did not get the statements I asked (and paid) for, so have written and phoned asking for the statements, highlighting the 40 days were getting pretty adjacent and how I could not see how the £65 was a 'fair offer' if I did not have sight of the statements witht he charges etc.

Was this the right thing to do and if so/not, what is the next step?

Just an update....Put in my letter asking for £113 (have not gone into attack for the microfiche element yet). They initially credited my account with £65 as a good will gester, but I said that this was not good enough. On 16 Nov, after issuing MCOL action, they offered me £113.09 again as a good will gester. I have said thankyou and will be taking it.

Interestingly they then wrote (different bloke) on 17 Nov saying that they were not paying me anything above the £65...! We'll see what happens next!
