    Hi Davyno1

I had filed my 'Moneyclaim' and within approx 2 weeks had a letter from BOSicon offering full refund with interesticon and costs, with usual "not liable - goodwill" spiel

BOS had already replied to court to say that they were going to defend, but then backed down at the last minute.

I did not get an offer but I know others that have and they rejected and held out for the full amount and GOT IT!

Stick with it and Good Luck.

Milliewhiplash - Go for it. Its your money and you are entitled to it back. Spend a day or two reading the FAQ's and some of the threads round the site and then get the ball rolling. While you are waiting on your statements then spend some of your spare time gaining more knowledge on the site so that you are aware of the whole process and the steps involved.
Oh and start your own thread(s) in the relevant areas so that comments dont get muddled and any questions you have can be answered quickly as people wont have to read through multiple claims on one thread!
Finally, if you are at all worried that the bank may close your acct, open another one - theres a thread about parachuteicon accts which should assist with that if your credit rating is not brilliant...

    Hi

BOSicon currently owe me over £5k and I have just recently started the ball rolling in the Small Claims Court - is there a quicker way for me to get the full amount refunded as you have done with the £3k?

    Thanks

    Hi Lesleya

    Not sure what you mean
Have you just started the process (DPA / SARicon letter) or are you already at the court stage?
I had to go through the whole process but was lucky that BOSicon decided to settle very soon after I had filed my MCOL.
In all it took just under 3 months from start to finish.

    Hi

I have a return date of 15 November for my first claim of £750.00 lodged at Glasgow Sherriff Court (Scotland) with the next claim ready to be lodged - just wondered if you had managed to find a way to speed up the process with BOSicon instead of having to make 7 claims?

    Thanks
    L

    Hi Lesleya
I think I'm missing something - why are you making 7 claims?
Or do you mean 7 different claims?
I only made one claim against BOSicon for all my charges together and that was done in the usual 3 stages (Pre-Lim, lbaicon and then filed at court via Money Claim On-line). Although they acknowledged the claim - which technically gave them a further 28 days to file a defenceicon - they decided to cough up fairly quickly.
Maybe it works differently in Scotland??
    I'm not sure.

    Hi again,
I've just been reading the forums and I realise now that the maximum you can claim is £750 at a time in Scotland. I am in England and so the limit is £5,000.
Have a look here if you haven't already and maybe post your query here to get the right advice. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/scotland/
Sorry I couldn't be more help.
    Good luck with your claim
    Deb
