Well.. I made my original claim using the pro forma letter from this website on 14th August and after a couple of standard "we are dealing with it" replies have received an offer today of £370. My original claim was £469 going back over 6 years.. various charges for bouncing cheques and so on
I consider this to be a success but do appreciate the general principle of pursuing them to the end in order that their true charges can be winkled out of them...
As for me, since it's peanuts, I'm going to accept .. the timing is perfect and the dosh is well needed!
However, if I had a bigger claim I would mostly certainly pursue it and have recommended this site to all my friends and chat buddies
