    Hi

Please can i get some help and Advise.

I sent off my first letter, requesting refund of charges, which total up to £772.80 .

I need some help writing letters as im so useless. please can someone send me a drafted letter they have sent or help me write one.

Please Please help, as im getting very worried now.

    Many Thanks.

    Hiya

I wrote something like this (copy & paste & fill in the your details)

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    ACCOUNT ROLL NUMBERS:

    Your Reference:

In response to your letter offering £xxx as a goodwill gestureicon - your offer is accepted only as a partial repayment of the outstanding balance and I do not recognise it as a Full and finalicon settlement.

Although I appreciate your offer, I would like to notify you that my request was for £xxx, and should a positive response not be received by XX/XX/XXXX, then I shall have no option but to (**file a court action against you / submit a letter before actionicon).

I hope this matter can be resolved amicably and swiftly.
    Yours sincerely,

(** delete according to where your claim is at)

    Hope that helps

    Good Luck with Your Claims

    Hi Deepa,

There is a letter template in the Library for this:

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...ent-offer.html

Also don't forget to familiarise yourself with the FAQs as it will help you to understand the process better.

    Hope this helps...

P.S. Stick to your own timetable in terms of the letters you need to send out - you don't need to wait for them to respond as each letter sets out the time they have been given by you in which to make contact. If the 14 days are up on the 5th, send the lbaicon then.

    DAY 45: 27/10 - Data Non-Compliance sent off
    DAY 67: 18/11 - N1 Deemed served
DAY 114: 03/01 - Judgment served £60 cheque rec'd; Prelim sent for overpayment refund of £393.06

Good luck with your claim you will get your money back in the end it’s just a waiting game for the banks to see if you will back down. I never did went all the way to issue of court papers, 7 days after they acknowledged the claim they paid out. That was yesterday
