Hi people,
anyone know if Nat West are struggling under the amount of statements going out?
It's now day 35 and other than asking for payment I haven't heard diddly squat!
Also.... having sent a postal order, they then took £5.00 from my account, (presumably for the same thing!) should one request that charge back seperatly, or stick it in with all the others?
ha ha ah this forum is snowballing! Serves them right, they've been on the gravy train for too long. I'd love to know what is going on in the management meetings at the moment!
I've been assisting my mum with Natwest, they took £5 from her account also even though she sent a chq, now they can't find the chq and no statements, what a joke!
I have a little thing on my signature you may want to read on statement ordering but the fact that the account has been debited does suggest that they are on their way
Sorry NWSM, it doesn't!!!!
Day 40 still no statements, sifted thru the threads, found the phone no for Joyce Tudors office. Spoke to a very timid female, (different thread on the site argues....women, girls,or lady) Who says, no payment receive...sent to your office 5 weeks ago.....not received.......Post office say it was.....Oh......also, £5 charge taken from account 5 weeks ago.....statement not been ordered!!!!
She's going to phone me back later today.
I'll lech'a Know.
And I thought Halifax took a long time to get my statements to me
Keep bugging them and I am sure they will arrive.
They must be pretty overloaded by now and rightly so.
Hope they arrive super speedy for you.
Good luck.
carlie
In my case it not too much of a problem. As I'm self employed, I have most of my statements for the accounts. Just missing 2 or 3 per year. But as they've taken as much as £360 some months, I wouldn't want to miss any.
Day 48.
Still no statements, but I have had the Bog off letter from Squiggly Higgly. They received the prelim letter Monday.
Statements 49 days+.
Bog of letter 3 days.
that says a lot!
I received my statements well after the 40 days but there was a year and a half worths missing - thanks for that telephone number, I spoke to Michelle Crew who assures me I will have missing statements in 7 - 10 days. The change over in 2002 is apparently the reason why Jan 1st 2000 - October 2002 were missing!
I'm still waiting for my statements (and they cashed my £10 cheque on day 39). I've written to them telling them I'm reporting them to the Information Commissioner...
