Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and I'm not quite sure where to post this as I'm having a hard time finding my way around here. There are threads all over the place! :o
I'm currently having some probs with Barclays. I have a business account with them and I deposited a cheque on my account last June that came back unpaid. They re-sent it and it came back unpaid again. I just received a letter 2 days ago telling me that I have to pay £4 for this unpaid cheque!!! Why on earth should I pay for an inward unpaid cheque??? And what can I do about it? Thx in advance for your help.
Urm not sure, if you have a business account then i would do a search for business accounts, i think theres a thread around for them somewhere.
Secondly is it just the one £4 charge you want to reclaim?

Hi Glenn and thx for answering me. I don't want to re-claim it, I just don't want to pay it! I called the bank today and they told me that my business manager would call me back this afternoon or tomorrow and will see if they can do something about the charges but he didn't get back to me yet. Which isn't very surprising since I barely ever talked to my "business manager" who's supposed to be there to help me and has, in fact, ripped me off on day one! They refused to give me my money back. But that's another matter. Thx anyway for your help.
