    Default Admission Of Liability

A lot of people now seem to be getting settlements, along with a letter stating that the bank makes the refund without accepting liability (or something along those lines...)

Has anyone yet turned round and said "not good enough...I insist on admission of liability...?"

I think I will give it a shot if the situation arises in my claim

In that case you may well hand them a victory in court - in fact Im certain of it. When the Judge sees that were willing to settle the claim in full, that will really count against you.

Court is not about getting even, or silly things like justice, its about resolving claims that can not be settled.

The law maybe reason without passion as Aristotle said, but hey, he said nothing about having fun when getting even!

Good point - considser my thought un-thought. I need to see if there is another way to get the bank to admit they were liable...a futile task, I realise...
