God i almost died of shock today... i called barclaycard to get the address for requesting old statements the very nice guy on the otherend of the phone send he could do it for me there and then and it would only take 3-5 days (FANTASTIC) until he said that'll be £216.00 pls £3.00per statement.. nice try sweetie i said but i'm a bit more clued up than that. SAR letter in post with the £10.00 cheque..

has this happened to anyone else.

Yep £114 ! Currently trying to get it back they refunded £68 so far.

well ive been on holiday for a couple of days, came back to find my barclaycard statement had arrived, with a balance of £0.00... they'd only gone and cleared off my balance which i had to say was about £60.00 more than i was claiming.
