Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Having had such a positive result earlier this week I'm keen to press ahead with pursuing some of the other charges the bloke has had applied to various accounts over the last few years, starting with HSBC (erm, among others - I've had my most productive Sunday afternoon for years!) :O)
S.A.R. will be off in the post in the morning - wish me luck, and I'll keep you posted!
Statements arrived at the tail-end of last week (plus my uncashed S.A.R. cheque back, bless!) - a wee totting-up session later & it looks like this time we'll be going after £1438 in charges.
Prelim has gone off this morning so the ball is well and truly rolling - feels good to be taking positive action again!
lba went off on the 25th Oct & was very promptly delivered on the 26th - as they're still opting for the 'if we ignore her, perhaps she'll go away' strategy and I haven't heard a peep back, I've finally filed with MCOL today for £1438 plus £392.49 in interest at 8% plus the £120 court fee.
Total claim amount £1950.49.
Will drop a mod a line with the claim details in due course.
