Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
hoping you can help. Finally sat down and started the ball rolling for all my credit cards / bank account that has spiralled out of control due to unfair charges
Looking around the forums about barclaycard they seem to be complete B*****D's to give statements. I know they owe me a fortune as it was put into default about 16 months ago and i've been paying them atleast £20 a month yet it's STILL over its limit
Looking at the threads, they try not to give statements saying that they want more money as they've filed them on microfilche; my 1st question is:
"Do i send them the first letter with the £10 and explain that this should cover the costs, including looking up previous statements on microfilche?"
please help, all my cards went into default due to the charges that were unfairly put on which i REALLY want to clear by March 07 as i get married and want to start married life almost debt free (car doesn't count )
